Go on a Hike in Any of the Grupo Mayan Mountains

Besides knowing what to say, there are two more important things that businessmen should learn to take care of: punctuality and dress code. In Grupo Mayan nation, there are no strict guidelines. You don’t get banned from attending meetings or close deals if you don’t follow them. However, if you want your potential business partner to feel comfortable with you and increase your chances of grabbing an economic opportunity during your Grupo Mayan stay, make sure that you heed them.

Here are some tips:

1. Bring dark suits and ties. In general, dark suits and ties are always how Grupo Mayan businessmen would wear. Of course, they would hope that you do too. For women, skirts and blouses are okay, but ensure that you don’t settle for ultra-minis as you don’t really like to distract your business partners with what you’re wearing.

Nevertheless, they can get very hot. If you’re in a Mexican region that’s typically hot, casual wear would do. For men, these include light shirt and long pants. You can cover the former with a sweater or a light coat during nighttime since the weather can turn cold. Women, on the other hand, can settle for pants or skirts.

2. Wear leather shoes. As much as possible, don on leather shoes. They would always go with almost every other clothing attire you have. They are also business-like. Running, tennis, and golfing shoes, among others, are definitely a no-no. If you want to be taken seriously, you should look like it too. Women can wear closed and high-heeled shoes. Usually, the meeting doesn’t last for a very long time, and there will be not a lot of standing. The feet can still rest.

3. Know where the social gathering is. Expect to be invited into parties, so you better make sure that you’re prepared. It’s not really customary for them to accept a no reply for their invitation. Now, most of their parties are casual. So you can just bring along some polos, chinos, and shirts. If it’s formal, though, you still have to grab another suit or tie. Since there are a lot of Grupo Mayan Golf Courses, you will also be encouraged to play. Any standard Golf attire will do. That includes the shoes.

With regards to time, the Mexicans can be very flexible. Unless they tell you that you have to be there at the meeting place Hora Inglesa, or English time, then you really have to be very patient. They can be late for a lot of reasons—and they will always give you one.

Now, for Grupo Mayan parties, if you’re the one sending the invitation, make sure that you can indicate the ideal time to come, but again, you really can’t expect them to show up at such. Giving one, though, will at least give them an idea when the entire venue will be prepared and that you’ll be around to greet them. It’s also not ideal to indicate an end time for any social occasion. Mexicans love dancing and singing, and they can last the whole night. Thus, you may want to schedule the event at a date when you are basically doing nothing.

Pinehurst Golf Vacations Offer More than Just Golf

Pinehurst golf vacations can offer you a bit more than just playing golf. Although it is not designed to provide the same family entertainment that Myrtle Beach is capable of, Pinehurst offers a choice of golf schools and a choice of entertainment and sports for the younger family members.

Pinehurst is close to Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, and is best known for its golf. With around 5000 inhabitants, Pinehurst has eight main championship Golf Courses with a total of over forty in the surrounding area. It also boasts several good golf schools and academies, and is an excellent choice for a golf vacation.

Pinehurst Offers a Number of Sporting Options

If your family does not share your love of golf, Pinehurst offers a number of different sporting options. It is an equestrian area, and many equestrian activities are available such as horse riding and lessons, horse jumping and so on. There are many lakes nearby and boating, canoeing and other water sports are offered. Fishing and hunting are popular, but perhaps not with the younger children. They may prefer tennis and there is also carting and bowling nearby.

Should the family want something offering more in the way of holiday fun, Myrtle Beach with its great beaches and funfairs is only a short trip away, and the nightlife at Myrtle Beach is superb.

There’s an Affinity between Pinehurst and Scotland

However, it is for the golf that people vacation in Pinehurst, and several packages are available to suit individuals, groups and family groups. The village is where Ben Hogan won his first pro tournament, and the first courses were designed by, or modified by, the great Scottish course designer, Donald Ross. There is great Scottish tradition in Pinehurst any many Scots feel an affinity with the town.

The golf schools in Pinehurst include The Pinehurst Golf Academy where you can make bookings for a golf school vacation from March to November, which is great way of getting some golf in while improving your game. You can use them to get some badly needed tuition in the fall so you are ready for the new season in the spring. It’s a great alternative to a summer golfing vacation.

If your whole family loves Golf, Pinehurst would make a great vacation and the food is excellent with Japanese and other forms of international cuisine as well as the traditional American fare. You could try some Mexican for a change, though the kids might prefer a burger or hot dog.

Pinehurst Offers Golf Schools for the Beginners

You can get special family deals on the courses, and there are plenty of practice facilities available. The golf schools are good for the complete beginners in your group, but make sure you book places well in advance. The Nike Golf School is a form of camp and is great of the younger children. If you book your youngsters into the Nike camp to learn the game, and yourself and your partner into a Pinehurst resort, you get the best of both.

You both enjoy your golf, while your youngsters enjoy the camp while learning how to play. It won’t be long till they are joining you on the big courses on your next golfing vacation. Pinehurst golf vacations have a lot to offer if you think about what there is and use the resources to your best advantage.

Why You Should Go for Nike Sasquatch Clone Clubs

Nike golf products need no introduction, as these are immensely popular golf products among renowned golfers across the globe. Apart from instruments, Nike golf footwear and apparel have also been appreciated by the golf lovers. The manufacturer has revolutionized the product category of Golf Clubs by introducing SasQuatch clone clubs in three different variations. In fact, these clubs have acted as inspirations for other manufacturers, who have also started manufacturing similar products for the golfers.

Nike SasQuatch Sumo Squared Driver

These are the first type of SasQuatch clubs from Nike, with a treasure of great capabilities as mentioned below:

An exclusive shape to help you play different shots in different situations.

The high moment of inertia offered by these clubs is helpful in deciding good results for off-center shots.

The face and body crafted using titanium is another added advantage for enhancing the comfort level of golfers.

These clubs are not only appropriately long, but are more responsive than other types of clubs available in the market.

Nike SasQuatch Sumo Driver

The next type of wonderful clubs is available in the form of SasQuatch Sumo Driver, which have some identical features to the clubs just discussed above. However, other features can differentiate these two types of clubs:

The titanium constituted head is the favoring requirement for modern golfers and these clubs are capable of fulfilling this requirement.

The width of the club face is in appropriate ratio with the club head depth and this helps in performing some good hits.

The high moment of inertia is also promised by these type of golf clubs.

Nike SasQuatch Fairway Woods

The most significant aspect of these products is that these employ Power Bow technology to expand the width of the club head. This innovative geometry of the golf clubs can result in higher shots as well as maximum distances traveled by the balls on every shot.

You can shop for Nike golf clubs according to your level of convenience, but make sure you choose a right online destination for this.

Clothes Airers – Goodbye Ugly Duckling Hello Swan

Plato spoke of goodness, truth, beauty and unity as the four ideals. Today beauty is much loved for its ability to inspire us.

Beautiful models adorn the fashion magazines. They entice us to buy some perfume or cream, which their beauty supports. Beautiful cars, watches, clothing even Golf clubs are made to be desirable. Simply by possessing them implies that we too possess the qualities they exude.

Fifty years ago the clothes airer was made of wood. It was an ungainly item, which stood stubbornly in the middle of a room. Laden with wet clothes it soon filled the room with damp. In dark cold winter days it was the only way families could be supplied with dry clothes. The spin dryer did not exist; far less the energy hungry tumble dryer of today.

Clothes were often draped around the fire on any contraption available. Accidents were common. Then the pulley airer came along hanging from the ceiling in cramp kitchens. The kitchen was impassable during laundry day. The clothes smelled of food, the process was slow. Warm sunny or windy days were favoured Laundry could have ‘a good blow’. Everyone knows that clothes dried naturally smelled fresh as the weather!

Gradually the clothes airer evolved but remained largely wooden, overbearing and hardly a beauty. Today modern materials have changed all that. A new airer is available in wall-mounted versions with arms that hold parallel pullout rods. It can be completely retracted when not in use.

Quality Airers are made in recyclable wipe clean polycarbonate or non-rust aluminium in modern designs. Slick and streamlined they add style to clothes drying.

The duck of old has turned into a carbon free, energy free, eco friendly swan. It’s your carbon footprint – install an airer, better still install an energy free natural drying system, you won’t regret it!

Top Golf Flexibility Exercises for Enhanced Performance

The singlemost important golf fitness factor for your golf performance is flexibility. The less Golf fitness stretching exercises you do, the less flexibility you have, the worse your game. It’s that simple. Ignorance of the proper golf stretches and lack of flexibility are responsible for keeping the games of many players from ever reaching their full potential – on all levels.

No equipment breakthroughs, no magical flying Golf Balls, no $300 lessons and no ‘electrically charged’ bracelets will ever take the place of what a proper golf fitness stretching exercise program can do for your game.

With the right golf stretching exercises, the easier and further your body can turn, the better, more powerful, your swing is. Period.

Moving the club head over a greater distance allows for the generation of more club head speed, hence more distance on the ball – WITH LESS EFFORT.

So, What Does The Ideal Golf Stretching Exercise Program Consist Of?

1) It must include several key compound stretches – stretches that elongate several joint areas at the same time – mimicking natural movement patterns. Allowing the golfer to be more accurate through enhanced fitness flexibility, body awareness & control.

2) It must include a series of single or double joint golf stretching exercises. The effects of these stretches increase exponentially when the specific body movement requires several of these joints to move in coordination with each other (ie – the golf swing).

3) It must follow a symetrical protocol – the true key to maintaining optimal muscle/tendon/joint balance on both sides of the body. This allows for enhanced golf swing power without a large increase in swing effort. And this is also very important to chronic and acute injury prevention – and hence fitness and playing longevity.

4) It must offer several golf fitness program variations. A long version for regular training days and a short version for Pre-Round Stretching. A few variations with the large exercise ball should also be included (extremely important for the golfer) along with a couple of club stretches to do just before tee-off & between holes if necessary.

5) It must be realistic & easy to do for golfers at any fitness level with no equipment except for a stretching floor mat (and an exercise ball for certain stretches).

6) It should be thorough – addressing the head and neck all, the way down to the feet. Remember, the golf swing is a full body movement.

7) It should feel good – especially afterward. This type of stretch routine should make you feel as if your posture is immediately better & you should feel stronger – just because your body moves so much easier & more fluidly. You should almost feel like you could rip the cover off a ball if you were to hit one right after your golf fitness stretch routine.

8) It should cause some of your golf buddies to become ‘hateful enemies’. Once you start bombing your drives & ripping your iron shots ‘the boys’ are not going to be very happy with your new-found golf fitness abilities – they will be ‘green’ with envy.

9) Multi-plane, rotational floor stretches are a must. Glute, piriformis & IT band stretches are a must. Heel (Achilles) and calve stretches are a must. Hip flexor, quad, and groin (adductor) stretches are a must and have to be included in any golf fitness flexibility program.

10) Neck, trapezius & shoulder girdle stretches must be included. Chest, arm, abdominal and oblique stretching exercises must be included. Upper, middle & lower back stretches must be included.

11) A complete golf flexibility exercise session should take you no longer than 45 minutes on a long program and no longer than 14 minutes on a ‘quick golf stretch’.

The starting point of your optimum golf fitness exercise program should place priority on the flexibility component. A carefully crafted stretching program, consisting of the right golf exercises, should be the foundation for which the rest of your golf performance conditioning program is built upon.

Kids Birthday Party Places

Is it time to plan your kid’s birthday party again? Every year around that time you’re wondering – has it been a year already? What are we going to do THIS year? I don’t think I want 20 kids at my house again… so, what other options do we have?

If you’re that mom (or dad), here are some suggestions:

Kids get to choose a Teddy Bear (or any other animal within the price range selected) and give it a personality by stuffing it, fluffing it, giving it a voice, dressing it up, accessorizing it, and giving it a name. There is also a “Heart Ceremony” where each kid gets to choose a “heart” and make a wish, before placing it inside his animal.

Each kid gets a “Birth Certificate” with his Teddy Bear’s name, and a little cardboard house to take the Teddy Bear home as a goodie bag. Teddy bears, voices, clothes and accessories all vary in prices. You can designate a price range (starting at $10) for each one of the categories that suits your budget. Parties are for 6 kids or more and include a “party leader” who manages the party process and entertains the kids.

Chuck E. Cheese

Chuck E. Cheese is a chain of family entertainment centers and has been a kids’ favorite for many years. It offers indoor fun activities and games for kids of all ages. From play structures, tubes, slides and small rides to Air Hockey tables and arcade games.

The birthday kid gets a collector’s cup, cotton candy, a crown, and a helium balloon. Additional party options such as extra cake, goodie bag, or collector’s cup are available for purchase. You can also bring your own cake and/or ice cream.

Which Golf Tips Should You Listen To?

There are good golf tips and bad Golf tips. The question is, “how do you decide which golf tips to listen to?”

This question has been brought home to me recently because a good friend took up golf about two years ago. He has really caught the bug and plays several times a week. He also has lessons and practices frequently. Whenever we play together he is constantly asking for tips and advice about his swing.

It is my belief that you should only give a player a golf tip if you are sure that it will fit in with the rest of his swing. I have seen far too many players lose their swings when trying to adopt a golf tip which simply does not fit in with everything else that goes on when they swing the club.

OK, I know, there are certain golf tips which are universally sound, like, “keep your head still.” But equally there are plenty of other golf tips that can be ruinous even when given with the best of intentions.

In particular I recall a good player with whom I’d played many rounds who always drew the ball right to left, usually with good control. One day when his draw was a bit exaggerated, his partner suggested this perfectly sound golf tip: “You know, if you were to keep your right elbow well tucked in on the downswing you would lose that nasty hook.”

The suggestion was well meant. However, for a player who had a well grooved habit of swinging slightly over the top of the ball, as Arnold Palmer was wont to do, it proved to be one golf tip too much. He became so conscious of his right elbow that it threw the whole of the rest of his swing out of shape and it took him months to get it back again.

The point is that the golf tip didn’t fit in with the rest of his swing.

This is a mistake that many golfers make. They listen to all the golf tips out there and try to adopt them all in their desperate search for a good swing. It is my belief that your aim should be to groove a golf swing that will give you streams of straight and long golf shots by modelling your swing on one set of advice. Then you should develop a mind movie of that swing so that you can reproduce it whenever you play a shot.

Think how long some of the most famous partnerships between players and their swing coaches have lasted. Think of Jack Nicklaus and Jack Grout, Tiger Woods and Butch Harmon, Nick Faldo and David Lead better to name but a few. All these great players relied on one coach’s vision of their swing to keep their mind movie in shape. They did not go asking for golf tips from other players.
