The answerer didn't know you were a member of a club. I'm not a member of any club, but I can't play in denim(barely can practice in it). Anyhoo, try Dick's Sporting Goods or any of the online retailers(tgw.com, golfsmith, edwinwatts.com, even ebay.) You can get catalogs from the first 3 I mentioned(I have them all). I get all of my apparel on ebay. Obviously I'm not a girl, but they have the kind of apparel you're looking for.
References :
you can wear shirts that has a collar, loose enough for swing movements
the skirt can be decently short if they are kinda shorts, khaki is a good material, slacks or shorts, i do remember one of my sons team member came to play in a tournament in a skirt and did not look good
and i think she thought so also, she played terribly.
References :
I know exactlty what you mean- I'm 16 and most of the golf clothes I find I wouldn't be caught dead in. I usually buy my clothes from shops that sell workout gear- obviously not the bra tops- because they look sporty and shorts, but where I play is really layed back, you could probably play in jeans and a shirt. For comps, I wear black trousers and gym tank-tops, plain t-shirts, or polo shirts. The only actual golf clothes I wear are the shoes. Basically, don't limit yourself to clothes specifically for golf. Go and check out gyms that sell clothes, shops that sell workout gear, and any casual clothing stores. Good luck :)
References :
A word of caution if I may. A golf ball is easily swallowed and costs a lot to get back! I have been privy to visiting a museum where on display, were golf balls that had been retrieved from a dogs stomach (by operations) at various stages. It was amazing how the stomach juices react to the foreign object but still not a nice thing to have to put a dog through.

Dog sense are extraordinary!!! Their sent are 1000 time more stronger then human! They can smell lots and lots and LOTS or thing. If you have a dog, and you where do some thing (like trying to fine golf ball) when it was a puppy, and he (the puppy) looks at you every time you do it, it like your teaching the puppy something. So now that your dog is older (1 year old or higher... doesn't really matter what age) now he has the ability to have the smell of the texture and the fabric of the golf ball and if the dog smell the texture or the fabric of it, it will go and get the golf ball.

Trust me... That's why your dog is getting golf balls
References :
Border Collies are extremely intelligent dogs and learn very quickly. He is doing it by scent, the balls are handled by people, people have unique but similar scents, and he has associated golf balls as a way of getting praise from you.

I will bet you scratch his ears and make a big deal out of it when he finds one. If so, you are giving him exactly what you want.

Border collies are one of the smartest dogs I have meet and I love training them.
References :
http://simplyeasydogtraining.com/blog
