The president needs to decide if our objectives are worth fighting for or not. If not, then get our boys the hell out of there before any more die. If they are, then give the general what he needs to accomplish the mission.

Yep, and if your President just rushed in and sent more troops without careful consideration then the net would be just as flooded with complainers about him not caring about the troops and sending more to their deaths.
I seem to recall the upset and the complaining when Bush sent more to Iraq. People said he was wreckless and irresponsible in how he was acting and that he should be charged with the murder of the soldiers who would die.
You guys can’t have it both ways.
