ya but no one cares …
ya but no one cares about that shit, the fastest ball game is called war, try dodging bullets.

It would …

It would have been much better if they have used a checkered background, a high speed camera and a very accurate clock. But of course it would just be a lot more scientific, and not produce such lovely clips as the “breaking glass” method does.
This is far from …
This is far from scientific. Somehow I find it hard to believe that the tempered glass breaks at exactly 100 m/h and that it reduces the speed of the ball at exactly 50 percent. The real numbers are probably not so “pretty”. Also the breaking speed is probably determent by the ball (not 100m/h for all balls), and the percentage of speed drop is not same for different speeds.
chicchacchula. The …
chicchacchula. The pelota is 150mph+ leaving the xistera, it isn’t even approaching that speed for a catch. You want dangerous? Try cricket, same speed as a baseball pitcher, but he can legitimately aim to hit you, and the ball is rock hard.
pay attention to …
pay attention to him hitting the tee the tee they show on the pad is different from the one they show up close he is not hitting off a wooden tee the tee is plastic its two different shots shot in different places
Tempered glass do …
Tempered glass do not crack or get weaker. Tempered glass either is intact, or shatters. Ask an architect.
these guys need to …
these guys need to get their facts straight. out of the 61 million people that play golf Happy Gilmore can hit the ball the furthest.
i guess nobody told …
i guess nobody told them that jai alai gets to 188 mph averagely and could probably get more. although i think its a bit wierd how first it was 185, then 187, then 204?!? did he take roids on his lunchbreak or something!?
Jason + Happy …
Jason + Happy Gilmore drive + a loud scream = More Guinness World Record Fact Checking.
Jai-alai is still …
Jai-alai is still the fastest ball game. Golfers hit a stationary ball. Then they don’t see the ball again until it has stopped! Jai-alai players have that rock hard ball coming at them and they have to catch it! Baseball players have to hit 100mph pitches, but the ball is not nearly as dangerous and the speed not as high. Tennis players have to return 150mph serves, but the ball is soft. Jai-alai players routinely have to catch rock-hard balls moving 150+mph AND return the ball in one motion.

This show cares more about proving america is better than anything
i like the video …
i like the video now you should do the same investigation with the hardest jai alai player.

but they did have a radar gun
It does, google it.
It does, google it.
Why didn’t they …
Why didn’t they just test if a jai alai ball can really travel 188 mph? If anything, I’d like to know if that holds any truth.

yea thats because with a regular tee you can hit the ball cleaner
Actually it’s the …
Actually it’s the golf ball because NYle pruitt and Jaimie sadlowski have a swing of 150mph and ball of 2
Thanks man. This …
Thanks man. This show takes a lot of liberties. They’re more concerned with providing the viewers with entertainment than accurately evaluating and displaying the results.

FASTEST projectile …
FASTEST projectile in sport is the BADMINTON shuttlecock at 206 mph. which is way more impressive considering its made of feather and cork.
