Adidas Powerband – My first golf shoes
This is season two of my Golf mission. Last year I got my first set of Golf Clubs, but the whole season I didn’t buy any Golf Shoes because I was still new to the game and trying to consistently groove my swing first. Now was time to get the proper equipment to play this game and today on my lunch break I picked up my first pair of golf shoes. After work I rushed home, picked up my clubs and headed out to the driving range to test the shoes out. What a difference! I’ve been missing out, but I knew what I was missing and it was ok with me last season because I wanted to work on understand the fundamentals of my swing first.
My thinking is…having the tools to aid you before having the knowledge of how they help you take for granted what you have. In this same thinking is why I didn’t mod my S2000 initially until I really knew what I had and what it was capable of. Then when I got springs and final drive gears, I had an appreciation for what the upgrades did for performance. In this same analogy, I can really see the difference that having golf shoes makes in helping me stay planted when I’m swinging.
