i am so happy… actually, boarder-lining on ecstatic to hear that the Golf R is coming to North America. Now time will tell if it sneaks its way across the boarder to Canada. Hopefully VW can do it while Harper has his back turned because the Government of Canada has put a stop on vehicle like this before.

Really? In other words, they have again ripped off a challenge that was already done by the original Top Gear. Top Gear US, You are dead to me. As soon as they do something original and massively change up their episode format (And hosts, for god’s sake) I am treating them as if they are canceled. Thing is, I gave them a little slack- I was for them doing it. Thing was, they took that rope and hung my expectations with it. I’ll stick to the original from now on, thanks.

I have seen every episode too, and it really comes down to the presenters, because I really do think that UK Top Gear got much better when James May was added.
I think that if they drop Wood in US Top Gear and find someone else (Matt Farah?) it will be much better. He is just kinda awkward, and I feel that Jason Dawe was kinda the same way. Just didn’t quite fit.
But I really am not going to make full judgment till the end of the season, Wood may pull a rabbit out of his hat.
