http://janson.com El Gouna is currently the most popular tourist region in Egypt. An entire strip of land was transformed into an artificial lagoon. In the midst of a large number of holiday resorts lies the El Gouna Golf Course. With its own especially created lagoon, the par 72 course wraps around the Steinberger Golf Resort. From the artificial canals you have a view over the turquoise coloured water on to the neighbouring resorts and holiday apartments. The course was opened in 1999, and rated by the USPGA.

http://janson.com Fuerteventura, previously better known as a holiday destination for beach lovers, decided to follow the trend and in 2003 built the first Golf course on the island. Currently, the Fuerteventura Golf Course remains the only one. This will soon change, however, as there are plans underway to include three Golf Courses in the travel catalogue of this holiday destination by 2007. The course is set in the middle of a gigantic resort project. Villas and bungalows are for sale on the boundaries of the course, the heart of which is the 5-Star Hotel Elba Palace Golf. The guest house was designed in the traditional Canary Islands style. At the same time the luxuriously appointed building serves as a clubhouse.
